Passive Aggression

I think the problem is all about
Perception
Deception
Missed expectations

I think ready
You say set
I wish you stayed
And then you left

Granted this is half on me
For not saying what you should see
But part of me says you’re to blame
I need to know this is not a game

I wish you’d say what I hope to hear
I wish you’d just hold me near
But tonight a chasm breaks this bond
And I’ve no more patience left to fund

So I feel the problem is all on me
What I should say
what I let be
But exceptations will run through

In the end will there still
Be enough of us
To have left
A part of me
In you?
